The Energy Policy and Development Center (KEPA) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens organizes the 11th International Scientific Conference on “Energy and Climate Change”.
The Conference is under the aegis of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), the Hellenic General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) and the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The conference will take place in Athens (Cultural Center “Kostis Palamas” and Main Building (“Ioannis Drakopoulos” Amphitheater) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) during 10-12 October 2018.
The conference has received recently the “Academic Conference Excellence” certificate.
It consists of three parts. The 3rd Green Energy Investments Forum takes place on the first day under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Mr. Traian CHEBELEU, with speakers the ambassadors of Poland who will refer to climate change issues, of Moldova, Bulgaria and Ukraine, the mayor of the city of Trikala, bank representatives, chambers and companies.
During the Forum’s work, Prof. Dimitrios Mavrakis, director of KEPA will announce the initiative to tackle sustainably energy poverty in BSEC countries.
During the second day scientific papers from Albania, Germany, Hellas, Italy, Norway, Poland and Tunisia will be presented.
The third day is devoted to presentations and discussions for cooperation and submission of proposals under existing international and European funding programs (H2020, LIFE, Interreg etc).
