1,834 MW INSTALLED IN THREE COUNTRIES
ACCIONA Energía has a strong track record in North America, a region it has operated in for 15 years and installed 1,834 MW in wind and solar power, either in its own plants or project built for third-party customers: 693 MW in the USA, 283 MW in Canada and 858 MW in Mexico.
The company has renewed its investment activity in the North American market with the construction of the San Román wind farm (93 MW) in Texas. It also has several hundred MW under development in the country and is working to acquire additional late-stage projects. in Mexico, ACCIONA was awarded 168 MW of wind power capacity in the country’s first energy auction.
