Tesla is opening its newest showroom in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. The new 10,900-square-foot store located on West 13th Street replaces Tesla’s prior Chelsea location with a much larger footprint in the heart of the design-centric neighborhood, offering an immersive educational experience for residents and visitors looking to explore Tesla’s vehicles and solar and energy storage products.
Tesla showcases its all-electric vehicles including Model S, Model X, and Model 3, along with a suite of sustainable energy generation and battery storage products at its more than 300 stores and galleries around the world. The new showroom in Manhattan allows guests to learn about and purchase Tesla’s products in an experiential and low-pressure sales environment, complete with test drives, product demonstrations, and hands-on educational displays.
New Yorkers have access to the fastest, most convenient, and extensive charging network in the world – The Supercharger Network – for fast charging along main highways during long-distance travel. For convenient charging in urban areas like Manhattan, Tesla recently launched Superchargers in city centers, with New York City among the very first cities in the nation to have these types of Superchargers installed. Two stations are currently available in Manhattan, located at 106 Mott Street and on West 75th Street, with an additional nine Superchargers coming soon to the area.
Eligible New York residents can have their vehicles serviced at their own homes via Tesla’s Mobile Service, which costs the same as if the work was done at a Service Center and is completely free under warranty, while Manhattan residents have access to nearby Service Centers in Brooklyn and Syosset and additional Service Centers in Springfield and Paramus, New Jersey and Westchester, New York.
As Tesla opens new locations around the world, the new showroom in Manhattan further connects the state of New York to the company’s mission of a sustainable energy future.
