The Burstall Project is situated in the western side of Saskatchewan, close to the Alberta border. The site is on farm and ranch land and indications are that the wind resource is strong and steady.
The site could possibly accommodate a total capacity of up to 200MW, in planned phases.
Two monitoring towers are installed and collecting data. A Wind Resource Assessment study has been completed and provides Shear Wind with adequate information to move forward as opportunities arise.
Initial environmental and regulatory work has begun.
Available 230kV Transmission line transecting the site.
